QR Codes
Why isn't my QR code scanning?
If you're having trouble scanning your QR codes (WiFi, hotspot, and Operator QR codes), please note the following best practices:
Make sure that the entire QR code is visible.
This means that there should be some white spaces on the outer edges. Do not zoom in and cut off the edges of the QR code.
Increase the brightness on your device's screen.
Most of the time, QR codes won't scan if the screen brightness is not high enough.
Have the QR code positioned directly in front of the correct camera.
The camera on the Orb that reads QR codes is the one with the three dots on the black surface.
Position the QR code and the Orb so that they are not in direct sunlight.
Make sure that there are no reflections on any screens that will prevent the QR code from being read.
